Rosary on the Coast

Sunday, 29th April 2018, Blackpool

All Catholics across the United Kingdom are urged to gather on the coastline to pray the Rosary together.  As a show of unity and for a national renewal of our Christian Faith.

This is a national event, similar to those held in Poland and Ireland… It is hoped that Catholics will attend in large numbers.  A coach will be travelling from St. Walburge’s  if you wish to travel with us, or, you can meet us at 3pm in Blackpool.

Meet at 3:00 pm at Comedy Carpet, Blackpool.
Transport Available from St. Walburge’s at 1:30 pm returning at 4 pm.  Adult £10, Children £5.
£5 Deposit required by Sunday 13th April.

LMS: Pilgrimage to English Martyrs’

1st Class Feast of the English Martyrs

12 noon:  Procession with banners leaves from St Walburge’s followed by solemn High Mass and Social at English Martyrs’ Shrine Church.
Holy Mass will be celebrated for the Conversion of England and the abrogation of laws relating to the culture of death.

Sunday, 13th May, 10:30am

Marian Procession

After 10:30am Mass in honour of Our Lady of Fatima.  Renewal of consecration of the Shrines to the Immaculate Heart.

The pastoral care of the Shrine has been entrusted to the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest, a Catholic missionary society founded in 1990.
